A few months back Open Doors Rhode Island promoted a open house of the Sons of Jacob Synagogue, the oldest Orthodox congregation in Rhode Island. The synagogue, founded in 1896 is listed on the National Register of Historical places. Now in disrepair the synagogue will close its doors after this final public viewing.
