Earth Day clean up of the waterfront at Pawtuxet Park (Warwick), Pawtuxet Cove as well as Stillhouse cove (Cranston). This is the 2023 edition. Fortunately the forecast for rain will hold off till the afternoon allowing volunteers to concentrate on removing debris from the rocks and shores of our waterfront areas. I usually spend the morning photographing peoples efforts while trying to catch the local elected officials who show up for this community event. Today though, an unexpected family circumstance made it necessary to photograph todays’ event splitting time early in the am, meeting with family and then returning to capture the final images showing the results of everyone’s efforts/hard work.

Oops, they left a matchstick on the grass!! Kidding aside, thanks are due to all who participated in the clean-up and photographed the activities—well done!

Mike agrees too. He enjoys all your work which I share.
