It has been awhile since we have ventured out due to Covid concerns however we are both vaccinated at this time and decided to do one of the day trips we love to do which is to drive to Jamestown, park for free, then take the Ferry to Newport for lunch and a jaunt around town. The ride over takes about 30 minutes with stops at Rose Island Lighthouse, Fort Adams then to to docks of Newport. It’s a beautiful sunny spring day. Here are some of the images I took going and coming back while aboard the ferry.
Welcome back! It was a nice day indeed, Jim.

Thanks Cemal. Was good to do the Jamestown Ferry again after all this isolation.
Great pictures Jim! It was a beautiful day and we spent the afternoon at Bay Pointe in Quincy on their deck overlooking boats. We had some great wine and a delicious baked stuffed lobster w/ 2 sides. Enjoyed our outing.
Thank you Doris. Will have to speak to my wife about Bay Pointe in Quincy once we decided to travel to Boston again.
